**Position**:Homeroom Teacher (JUNIOR SCHOOL)
**Objectives**
- To develop schemes of work/Syllabus Distribution for the academic year.
- To prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or school requirements.
- To prepare weekly lesson planners in advance and in accordance to the school policies.
- To plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities based on the approved curriculum that facilitate student learning
- To deliver the lessons by integrating technology as an instructional and teaching method i.e. to use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations as per the requirement of the curriculum.
- To establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
- To prepare and grade class assignments, homework, periodic tests, and exam papers to extend student knowledge and understanding and to evaluate students’ progress.
- To maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development (i.e. Grade books or online grading sheets).
- To provide regular and appropriate feedback.
- To inform parents of students' progress by way of periodic progress reports, term-based report cards and, where necessary, letters or individual meetings.
- To assign class/homework, its correction and marking the work carried out by his/her students as per the classwork/homework policy of the respective department.
- To plan and make arrangements for the practical lab lesson, a week prior to the lesson.
- To keep records of students’ progress and achievement and set appropriate targets.
- To undergo regular performance evaluation or appraisal.
- To adopt and work towards the implementation of the teacher’s development plan as advised by the head of department during the induction period.
- To work productively with the head of department to ensure effective ordering and management of resources.
- To support and facilitate newly recruited teachers.
- To work as a member of designated teams(s) and to contribute positively to effective working relations within the school, supporting the School’s vision and objectives and departmental goals.
- Be prepared to perform duties as Academic Body.
**Qualification**
- Minimum Bachelors for Lower grades
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, Teaching Cambridge curriculum will be preferred.
- Fluent communications skills
**Teachers required only for Junior School.
