**Project Overview**:
Expo 2030 Riyadh is a global platform where countries, organizations, and individuals will come together to collaborate. Under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow,” the Expo promotes sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking. The event will be held from October 2030 to March 2031 and is expected to welcome over 40 million visits.

The 6 km² Masterplan outlines a comprehensive framework for participation and infrastructure at the Expo. The exhibition space, totaling 491,100 m² GFA, can accommodate up to 197 participating countries and 29 international organizations.

Working collaboratively with our customer, Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), Bechtel will manage the infrastructure program which comprises early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces like streets and parks. Our scope on the six-square-kilometer site will transition into a mixed-use legacy development to serve the community after the six-month event is over. The project’s master plan leverages international sustainability standards for urban afforestation, treated water, and energy sources.

**Job Summary**:
The Senior CAD Operator is responsible for producing high-quality design drawings and developing solutions for technical challenges in a 3D digital environment. The role involves creating architectural and engineering models and drawings to support permitting and construction, from project inception to completion, in alignment with time, quality, and project management objectives. The Senior CAD Operator will ensure best practices are applied across all drawing and modeling processes.

In addition to preparing design outputs, the role also includes reviewing digital submissions from consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with client CAD/BIM standards, information requirements, and Level of Development (LOD) specifications. While the primary responsibility is to support the Engineering department, the role may also provide services to other departments.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Creation of models and drawings in support of Design, Permitting and Construction that are completed in accordance with timelines, quality, and cost objectives
- Review of consultant/contractor 3D models and drawings per client CAD and BIM Standards.
- Support the management of the drawing mark-up process including maintaining all previous mark-up and revision history.
- Be proactive in coordinating project drawing requirements between design colleagues, project managers and external consultants
- Provide CAD drafting and Revit modeling services and technical support to the project teams as required.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience (ideally 10 years’ experience) post qualification including at least 3 within a BIM environment

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience (ideally 10 years’ experience) post qualification including at least 3 within a BIM environment
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit
- Experience in Autodesk 3D max and Rhino 3D is a Plus
- Experience in production of architectural and engineering designs and drawings.
- Experience in drawing office data registers and repositories.
- Be familiar with developing designs in project models using appropriate families, systems, etc.
- Have experience in the validation of as-built information against Client Requirements.
- Knowledge of using the Autodesk construction cloud environment
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and GIS-CAD interoperability
