Senior Project Controls Manager

JASARA PMC is in search of a dedicated Senior Project Controls Manager - Reporting to enhance our project management team. **Key Responsibilities**:

- _Strong understanding of design engineering and construction phases of projects._
- _Strong understanding of cost management, schedule management and planning, risk management, document control projects._
- _Presenting data provided by others into a Power Bi program, maintaining the Power BI database, and excel database, analyzing data prior to production._
- _Monitor and report project details to the SLT project management function, including progress, risks, and opportunities in a timely manner_
- _Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems._
- _Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts status against an established baseline schedule._
- _Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages._
- _Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information._
- _Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists and make strategic decisions to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively._
- _Reports status of schedule to management as well to the client._
- _Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships._
- _Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements._
- _Accumulates historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting._
- _May supervise and provide performance reviews for one or more lower-level Project Control Engineer/Specialists and/or support personnel._
- _Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate_
- _Perform project management duties as directed by the functional lead of the PMO._
- _Review contractor submittals of daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and carryout detailed reviews of submittals for errors. _
- _Preparation daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards based on design and construction submittals, Identify and analyze mitigations and progress based on project baseline._
- _Carry quality assurance review on all submittals and validate data prior to issue to Senior Management Team._
- _Communicate project progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives._
- _Lead cross-functional PMO project teams, fostering collaboration, motivation, and high-performance outcomes_
- _Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, objectives, tasks, resources, and timelines._

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20+ years of experience in project controls, focusing on reporting and analytics.
- _Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, Infrastructure, or a related field._
- _Previous experience in a Project Management/PMO in Engineering and Construction programs._
- _Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. _
- _Experience in PMIS Systems and P6._
- _Strong command of the English language and the ability to write clear and concise reports and briefings tailored for executive leadership_

- _Strong analytical and critical thinking skills._
