Testing and Commissioning Engineer

The Role
Job Description Testing & Commissioning Engineer for including but not limited to: - Power Transformers. - Capacitor Banks. - Power Cables. - GIS - Advanced Protection Relays - Identify areas of conflict between system requirements and designed schemes and recommend corrective action in compliance with customer specifications. - Create/modify documents and drawings, including single-lines, three-lines, and wiring diagrams for power system. - Review engineering diagrams and equipment ratings. - Ability to work closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirement. - Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients Engineers as needed. - Review project's documentations (Specs, BoQ, Drawings -- etc.) to extract owner requirements for commissioning methodologies and deliverables. - Identify areas of conflict between system requirements and designed schemes, and recommend corrective action in compliance with customer specifications. - Review engineering diagrams and equipment ratings. - Prepare Commissioning Method Statements for each system / equipment in the project completed with related checklists and forms in accordance with T&C codes. - Create/modify documents and drawings, including single-lines, three-lines, and wiring diagrams for power system. - Record, gather and arrange information and user manuals in order to Initiate comprehensive projects' manuals complying to project standards. - Participate in meetings with the customer, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents - Ensure relevant timelines are met, quality of testing activities and documentation is as per customer and Giza Systems' Quality policy. - Support engineering deliverables development through continuous communication with team members and technical status reports - Work closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirement. - Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients and SEC Engineers as needed. - Ensure documentation relating to the project is properly and promptly dealt with in the correct contractual manner - Understand the project milestones & deliverables and contribute to the overall profitability of projects and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills: - Previous Knowledge in Testing & Commissioning HV SubStations. - Including but not limited to: - Protection & Control Schemes. - MV/LV SWG. Advanced Relays. - Simple Relays.Stability & Primary Injection. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
