**Key Responsibilities**:
- Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with the financial targets.
- Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Valuations: Prepare and submit valuations and progress claims, ensuring they are accurate and submitted on time.
- Variation Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage variations and change orders.
- Reporting: Produce detailed reports on project costs, expenditures, and forecasts.
- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cost estimating and project management software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Knowledge of contract law and standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC).

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
