The **Senior Planner - Aviation**is responsible for leading and coordinating the planning activities for aviation projects. This role involves developing detailed project schedules, managing resources, and ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget. The Senior Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of aviation projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information and update project schedules regularly.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and progress meetings with project stakeholders.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure that all planning activities comply with relevant aviation regulations and standards.
- Manage resource allocation and ensure that project teams have the necessary resources to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Support the development of risk management plans and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior planners and other team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of aviation project management principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
- Previous experience in planning large-scale aviation projects.
- Knowledge of aviation safety and regulatory requirements.
