Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented **Contract Manager **to join our team

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.
- Provide support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attain their maximum potential.
- Interact with clients and address all inquiries related to commercial and contracts to maximize the profitability of projects.
- Payment of contractors and consultants
- Internal cost comparisons and cost projections
- Analysis of cost over-run and other implications.
- Negotiation of subcontracts.
- Preparation of contractor pre-contract work packages; manage bid process; tender analysis
- Negotiate final accounts
- Maintain payment logs, variation logs, and claims logs
- Review variation submissions
- Review construction cost reports submitted by the Cost Consultant
- Draft and review contractual letters
- Review and respond to Claims
- Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues
- Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements
- Ensure that quantity reconciliations are conducted accurately by the Cost Consultant
- Assist in the preparation of internal invoices
- Responsible for all financial, and contractual issues arising during the course of his contract.
- Identify legitimate contractual claim situations and prepare suitable and sufficient documentation for clients.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field and 12 years demonstrable experience in commercial roles.
- Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions
- Knowledge of partnering contracts.
- Knowledge of traditional and design and build contracts.
- Good team player and communicator.
- Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
- Proficient in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
