Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop MEP design plans that meet project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in project planning meetings to provide input on MEP system design, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- ** MEP Design Management**:

- Lead the design development process for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with design consultants and internal design teams to resolve conflicts, discrepancies, and technical issues in the MEP design.
- ** Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates for MEP systems design and installation.
- Monitor project expenses, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or performance.
- ** Procurement and Vendor Management**:

- Collaborate with procurement teams to source MEP equipment, materials, and subcontractor services required for project execution.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support construction activities.
- ** Construction Supervision**:

- Provide on-site supervision and oversight of MEP installation activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with construction teams to resolve field-related issues, change orders, and modifications to the MEP systems as needed.
- ** Quality Assurance and Testing**:

- Implement quality assurance programs and procedures to verify the integrity, functionality, and performance of MEP systems throughout the construction process.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to identify deficiencies, troubleshoot problems, and ensure proper functionality and operation.
- ** Team Leadership and Communication**:

- Supervise and mentor MEP engineering staff, designers, and project team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and address concerns related to MEP design and construction activities.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP design and construction management, with a focus on building projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and installation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems design and installation.
