Storekeeper

Our Company looking For Storekeeper, to manage the inventory and ensure efficient storage and distribution of goods within the organization. responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing various items, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill their material requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods or materials. Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of items received and ensure they match the purchase orders or delivery notes. Properly store goods in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.

**Stock Control**: Regularly monitor inventory levels and initiate timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking. Conduct periodic physical stock counts to reconcile actual stock with recorded quantities. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant departments.

**Material Handling**: Organize and arrange goods in a systematic manner to optimize space utilization. Safely handle and store items to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss. Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials or substances in compliance with safety guidelines.

**Issuing and Distribution**: Process internal requisitions or requests for materials from different departments. Prepare and pack items for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain proper documentation and update records for all outgoing materials.

**Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, issuances, and returns. Prepare reports on inventory levels, consumption patterns, and stock discrepancies. Generate inventory-related documentation, such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock transfer forms.

**Equipment and Systems**: Utilize inventory management systems or software to track inventory and generate reports. Operate and maintain equipment used for material handling, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or inventory scanning devices.

**Compliance and Safety**: Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory control, storage, and handling. Follow safety guidelines and ensure proper storage conditions for different types of goods. Comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as health and safety regulations.

**Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of material requirements. Communicate effectively with team members and provide support when needed.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.

Familiarity with different types of goods and their storage requirements (e.g., perishable items, hazardous materials).

Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.

Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime, as required
