Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Construction Engineer**to join our team

The Senior Construction Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction works within Qiddiya’s large-scale infrastructure and smart city development program. The role involves managing contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

This position is open to Saudi Nationals in support of the Kingdom’s Saudization goals.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
- Monitor contractor performance and progress against schedule.
- Liaise with design, engineering, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate between stakeholders to ensure smooth handover between construction stages.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure works comply with Qiddiya’s quality standards, Saudi Building Codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections, prepare snag lists, and oversee defect rectification.
- Enforce adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
- Maintain daily and weekly construction reports.
- Track project milestones and prepare variance reports if delays or issues arise.
- Provide input for monthly progress reports to senior management.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- **Nationality**: Saudi National (as per Saudization requirements).
- Minimum 4 years in construction engineering, with at least 2 years in senior-level roles on large-scale or giga-projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and safety standards.
- Previous experience in Mega/Giga ICT projects would be an advantage
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.

- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) is an advantage.
- Effective communication in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
