Woodston Personnel is seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant in Pediatric Emergency Medicine**to join our client’s dynamic Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, specialized emergency care for children in a leading healthcare institution committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients presenting with emergency conditions.
- Lead and supervise the pediatric emergency team, including junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure timely and accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute pediatric emergencies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, policies, and best practices within the pediatric emergency department.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide teaching, training, and mentorship to residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Participate in quality improvement, audit activities, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental research and continuing professional development programs.

**Essential Qualifications (One of the following certifications is required)**:

- American Board Certification in Pediatrics (with Pediatric Emergency Medicine subspecialty certification)
- Canadian Board Certification (FRCPC in Pediatrics with PEM subspecialty)
- CCT/CCST in Pediatrics with sub-specialization in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (UK)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP - Pediatrics & PEM)
- Facharzt in Pediatrics (Germany/Europe) with additional training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

**Completion of a structured, accredited 2-3 year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program** is **mandatory**.

Minimum **3-4 years of independent practice** post board certification and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at a consultant level or equivalent.
