Data Governance Lead Instructor

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver instruction on data science, data analytics, machine learning, Python, R, SQL, statistics, probability, and data engineering
- Facilitate group discussions, demos, and in-class activities
- Follow industry trends in big data, deep learning, machine learning, and AI
- Play a hands-on role in curriculum development, use what you learn from working with students to make the curriculum world-class
- Gather and report on student metrics
- Work alongside Coding Dojo’s Online Instruction team to deliver remote training
- Participate in professional training, so you stay fresh
- Responsible for potential deployment with any/multiple Coding Dojo clients on the B2B side of things
- Maintain positive attitude and punctuality while respecting cultural differences is a must in our operations.
- Ability to constructively critique submissions and guide our trainees through the Bootcamp is required
- Previous training experience in workshops in any academic or professional setting is highly preferred.

**Qualification/s**:

- 3+ years experience in a Data Science role (Data Management, Governance, Instructor, Scientist, or Analyst)
- Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related degree from an accredited College or University. Substantial experience may be substituted for education requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Required experience with Data Governance per the DAMA framework and data quality
- Prior experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Preferably Certified in DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Mgmt Professional)
- Prior experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI and analytics reporting is required.
- Experience with data preprocessing, model section, and hyperparameter tuning is _needed_.
- Experience with Data governance principles including but not limited to: _Data handling ethics,Data privacy laws,Data Architecture,Data Modeling and Design,Data Storage and OperationsData Security,Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence_
