Procurement Engineer

We are hiring Procurement Engineer

**Job Summary**:

- Procuring, Sourcing, Negotiating and Initiating the **Supply Chain Process** for Materials and sub-contract works

**Responsibilities**:

- Technically evaluate the internal materials or service request and send enquiry to local distributor or direct manufacturer to get techno-commercial offer and review the datasheets of model, specifications complying with materials and SOW description
- Sourcing and database all the suppliers, distributors and manufacturers contact information’s
- Review the technical and pricing advantages of different brands available in local and international market and form a record
- Review the purchase or pricing requirements from purchasing or estimation department and make it in order attachments by sections (Drawings, Specification, BOQ, Etc.) as professional approaching documentation and send to suppliers.
- Create the advanced pricing list of materials and services with multiple brands and periodically update the prices and ensure the prices sharing to estimation or project department is most updated
- Prepare the list of brands available locally and completive strategy on technical and prices
- Form and develop the supplier relationship management and keep in touch through mails and phone calls to be updated on products and prices.
- Negotiate and finalize the deal with suppliers to get more benefits on pricing and short delivery time (Incompliance with planning schedule)
- Attend local / International exhibitions to source a new supplier and form an advanced cooperation strategy
- Coordinate with estimation department and provide on-time pricing
- Coordinate with planning department to provide appropriate date of delivery of materials to main store.
- Coordinate with purchasing department to initiate and follow-ups the Purchase orders.
- Coordinate with projects department about MR (Critical Materials) approved by quantity surveyor and further to process the procurement activities.
- Familiar in SEC, SABIC, ARAMCO, Ministries, SWCC, standards and approved vendor list for materials and suppliers.
- Familiar in market reputed brands in Fire protection systems, Fire alarm systems
- Prepare the contract service agreement for sub-contract work
- Procure and execute the sub-contract works, sourcing specialized contractors only installation, civil works and other special works incorporated with project contract and scope.
- Preparing weekly and monthly procurement reports and documents (quotations, comparison sheet, etc.). point out the activities
- Closely monitor the raised RFQ and conduct regular mail follow-up
- Review and confirm the offered quotations from suppliers are relevant to RFQ before send to purchasing or estimation department.
- Research competitor products regularly and generate ideas for making our products the best ones on the market.
- Attend weekly team meetings to gather team progress reports, obtain updates on colleague’s progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging work lines

**Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Good knowledge in materials list in Estimation of Fire protection, fire detection and alarm
- Familiar in **NFPA-13,20,25,15,11,12,16,72,70,2001**, Codes only for **materials selection**
- Knowledge on familiar and locally available brands in Fire
- Excellent to create an attractive mailing
- Capable to design Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Eligible to work under pressure and deliver the outputs without making mistakes
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Effective documentation, presentation and composition skills

**Qualifications**:

- 5-10 years of relevant experiences, 5 years Gulf Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in mechanical or Electrical
- Work experience as Procurement Engineer in reputed fire systems company in KSA

Pay: Up to ﷼6,500.00 per month
