Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Plumbing Engineer**to join our team In this role you will get to lead the design, development, and implementation of plumbing systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Lead the design of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sanitary systems for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure plumbing designs meet all regulatory requirements, client specifications, and sustainability goals.
- Oversee plumbing systems from design to installation, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and review plumbing system calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the plumbing systems are installed according to design and industry standards.
- Ensure plumbing systems comply with local, state, and national codes, as well as safety and environmental standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training.
- Review and approve designs and work completed by team members, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical plumbing issues, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and present reports, technical documents, and project proposals to clients and management.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex plumbing challenges.
**What Required Skill's You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of **7-10 years of experience**in plumbing engineering, with experience in **large-scale infrastructure or Utilities projects**
- Proficiency in plumbing design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
