**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Hydraulic Repairs & Maintenance**: Perform high-level repairs, overhauling, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic components (pumps, motors, actuators, control valves, etc.) on vessels, rigs, and job sites.
- **Equipment Inspection & Testing**: Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, refurbishments, and testing of vessel cranes, steering gear systems, mooring winches, and hydraulic components.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Follow work instructions, best practices, and safety guidelines; ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing instruments; report incidents and near misses.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Prepare condition reports, test reports, job completion reports, and necessary paperwork (e.g., pressure test certificates, work orders).
- **Supervision & Support**: Guide mechanics, assistant technicians, and other team members; ensure proper use of tools and adherence to quality management systems.
- **Workshop & Inventory Management**: Maintain workshop cleanliness, equipment functionality, and stock usage records; ensure serviceability of products and proper assembly of hose fittings.
- **Project & Customer Engagement**: Oversee special projects (flushing, filtration, water supply); serve as the first contact for customers and ensure smooth transactions while complying with QHSE and ISO standards.

**Keys to Success**:

- Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and documents.
- Knowledge in Hydraulic Pumps, Motors, cylinders, control valves, HPU and other hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Knowledge on fitting sizes viz JIC, BSP, NPT etc.
- Ability to choose correct hose, fitting and belt options based on information given by customer
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities

**Requirements and Preferred Skills**:

- Preferred to have Vocational or Technical Qualification
- Minimum Two to five years of experience in a technical field job with hands on experience.
- Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize the activities.
- Ability to make work permits, JSA and other work reqd. work permits.
- Able to use hand/power tools and measuring equipment safely and correctly.
- Good communication skills, able to converse with supervisors.
- Professionalism and ability to exercise discretion with confidential information at all times is required.
- Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards, policies and procedures.
- Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & API Q1, 7K & 16C standards are preferable.
