We are now hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to carry out the electrical engineering design and design review tasks for all types of projects from conceptual design stage all the way to the tender stage.

In this role, you will generate and review the electrical engineering design deliverables such as lighting, lighting control, power, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, Public address, Access control, CCTV, Data & telephone systems, etc for code compliance, interdisciplinary integration and constructability aspects.

Additionally, you will be responsible to interact and coordinate projects with design, construction, planning, real estate, and other related discipline leads. You may be asked to review electrical engineering drawings and documents, project specifications, participate in project cost estimates, as well as to carry out estimations of engineering efforts in terms of hours and time for the project proposals Parsons is bidding for. You may also attend engineering discussions in both design projects related aspects as well as construction meetings for running projects on site.

In addition to that, you will need to have the knowledge in w orking in a BIM environment, using Revit MEP in modelling of electrical works, understanding of BIM collaboration between different disciplines, working with common data environments (Projectwise or BIM 360), and the ability to use Navisworks for the coordination and clash detection purposes.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of related electrical engineering oversight experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of construction works / inspections is also required along with carrying out site visits when needed for data collection and the preparation of site validation reports.
- Proven experience in the field of design and design review of the electrical systems for the different types of buildings such as residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities.
- Proficient in the design and design review of electrical engineering works with reference to required codes compliance and best engineering practices and alignment with projects budgets.
