**Job Requirements**:

- MBBS
- American Board or Canadian Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery
- 3+ years experience after certification.
- Arabic Speaker
- Dataflow for SCFHS is a must
- Valid SCFHS is a plus
- To fulfill a variety of roles that, in concert with other members of the weight management team, can effectively and efficiently enhance the surgical weight loss program for the Garnet Health System.
- To help prepare them properly for surgery, minimizing as many potential risks as possible from both a clinical and psychological stand point.
- To assist them with their postoperative care in both the hospital and office setting.
- The Bariatric Surgeon must have modern Laps skills (MIS) including the ability and experience to do revisions of surgeries laparoscopically.
- Must have proficiency in performing Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, gastric balloon placement and sleeve gastrectomy surgery.
- Supervise and teach younger staff.
