Accounting Officer

**Job Purpose**
- Improve our GBNTC’s and Know. financial performance and coordinate their accounting operations including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
- Handle the financial record keeping of GBNTC and Know.
- Assist in Developing and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
**Key Responsibilities**
- Handle daily activities of the accounting department including invoicing, A/R, A/P, payroll and Revenue Recognition.
- Record monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements.
- Prepare invoices, record payments, and oversee the expenses and maintain proper records on ERP and Google Docs
- Comply with accounting and legal requirements, ZAKAT, Tax and VAT filings, and involve in budgets preparation
- Maintain and review financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations, as needed
- Monitor expenditure and profits and provide reports.
- Prepare and maintain budgets for the project, maintain project cost and reporting
- Handle handle invoices and process payments
- Prepare the monthly payroll
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Handle general account queries
- Act as a point of contact for all internal and external payment issues
- Work in collaboration with Internal Auditor, External Auditors, and other Accountants.
- Preparing financial reports and presenting it to the higher management / Financial Controller
- All legal registration related matters, which could affect contracting, billing, and collection of payments
- Mentoring and managing the accounting staff and set up the KPIs
**Qualifications / Requirements**
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting related field is required
- Advanced degree in Accounting
- CPA or CMA preferred
Saudi National is a must
**Experience**:
- Proven working experience as a Accounting
- 1+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
**Technical Competencies**:
- Computer skills, latest technology trends in financial management tools, in particular, mastery of Excel and databases. ERP systems.
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Auditing experience
- Compliance oriented
- General understanding of cost accounting
- Knowing the dynamics of the sector for which you work in (learning and education industry)
- Process optimization for business efficiency
- Analytical costs: cost analyses
**Salary**: ﷼1,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Al Khobar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
