Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Contract Manager**to join our team In this role **you will get to play a pivotal role in the successful negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and stakeholder expectations.**

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization while meeting client requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, procurement, and finance, to ensure that contracts are aligned with organizational goals and comply with regulations.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and ensure standard clauses and provisions are included to minimize risk.
- Oversee the administration of contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring that all contract terms are adhered to and obligations are met.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring timely execution and compliance with terms.
- Ensure proper documentation and records management for all contracts, maintaining a well-organized and accessible contract database.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities within contracts and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance to prevent disputes, delays, or breaches.
- Advise on legal implications, changes in laws, and regulations that may impact contracts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
- Liaise with project managers, finance teams, and external vendors to resolve any issues related to contract performance or interpretation.
- Facilitate communication between parties to ensure smooth contract execution and performance.
- Identify and address any contractual issues or disputes, working collaboratively to reach amicable solutions.
- Manage conflict resolution and provide support in negotiating settlements when disputes arise.
- Work with legal advisors and external parties to resolve any contractual disputes, ensuring that the organization's interests are protected.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documentation.
- Prepare regular reports for management on the status of contracts, including compliance, performance, and potential risks.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving contract processes and mitigating risks.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract management best practices and the importance of adhering to contract terms.
- Educate stakeholders on the implications of contract terms and legal requirements.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and industry standards related to contract management and legal compliance.
- Propose and implement improvements to contract management processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring;**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCM, CPCM) is a plus.
- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, particularly in the [specific industry, e.g., construction, procurement, IT, etc.].
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of contract law, business regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interests.
- Ability to analyze complex contractual language and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Certified Contract Manager (CCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or similar certifications.
- Specific industry knowledge (e.g., construction, IT, government contracts) would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with local and international contract laws and regulations.
- Experience with managing multiple contracts simultaneously, especially in a project-based environment.
- Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies in contract negotiations and execution.
