CNC Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (lathe, milling, or other precision machinery) to produce parts to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate cutting, shaping, and finishing of parts.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to minimize downtime.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency during production runs.
- Perform routine machine inspections and maintenance (e.g., checking coolant levels, changing out tooling, cleaning machines).
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control staff to address any production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Document production processes and results, maintaining accurate records of parts produced, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical certificate or training in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC operator or machine operator.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD files.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, and gauges).
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
