Provides technical expertise within the Centre for Healthcare Intelligence (CHI) Division in order to develop enterprise-level IT standards. Mentors junior CHI employees and shares knowledge in IT decision-making in support of patient outcomes.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Develops Machine Learning Use Case prototypes and presents them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Oversees the end-to-end aspects of AI and Machine Learning solutions, including data acquisition, training phases, deployment phases, building API services, and model maintenance in production.
- Implements best practices for AI and machine learning development in the hospital setting to improve the development process, including compilation/building/release processes.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of technology vendors' competitive and complementary emerging technology offerings.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with industrial and research organizations to continuously improve the services provided.
- Contributes expertise in a technical domain within CHI to the development of enterprise-level AI standards.
- Mentors and shares expert level knowledge with junior CHI employees.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of processes and procedures related to the technical environment of AI in HITA, handling the most difficult technical problems.
- Provides technical advice on AI solutions to senior members under HITA.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or any other related disciplineis required.

**Experience Required**:
Seven (7) years of related experience with Master’s, or nine (9) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
