**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY**:

- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monthly close: Delivering a timely and accurate monthly close, in accordance with US and local statutory GAAP and bridging across to HFM.
- Local statutory reporting: Support the preparation of local statutory accounts and annual external audit process.
- Change management: Leadership role in business process improvements and changes.
- Internal controls and Sox compliance: Establish and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements including Sarbanes Oxley.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the accounting teams of the assigned business units providing mentorship and guidance.
- Tax Compliance: Support the direct and indirect tax compliance and filing requirements. Performing other duties or participating on special projects as assigned by management.

**BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & REQUIRED**:

- Professional Qualified accountant, member of a recognized professional accounting body.
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience of working in Oracle and Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and other relevant IT systems is essential.
- Previous experience in an international or multinational organization and in oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Tier 1 Professional Accounting Qualifications (Chartered Accountant from a reputable institute, ACCA or US CPA)
- 10 years’ experience in finance function, including 5 Years in managerial or supervisory roles.
