- **Job Summary**:

- In this role, you will be responsible for estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill. You will prepare cost studies, review cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.
- **Major Responsibilities**:

- Implement cost engineering processes and procedures to develop and maintain project budgets, cost estimating, cost and job hour monitoring, cost control activities and cost variance analysis, cost engineering deliverables and reports
- Provide generally routing and non-routine cost engineering guidance, analyzes to provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges
- Prepare cost studies and specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures, utilizing historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons
- Develop and implement project requirements for cost control in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures
- Perform budget allocation and reporting/cost control regime for specific construction discipline or group of
disciplines
- Identify cost trends for management attention; review identified cost trends for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives when appropriate
- Develop quarterly financial status reporting which includes cash flow and job hours forecast
- Maintain open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control

- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or construction management
