Role Summary

Specializes in providing assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex systems (e.g., electro/mechanical equipment, computer, complex software, or networked and wireless systems).

- Conduct Radio Site Surveys:

- Analyze and assess potential cell tower and base station locations for optimal signal coverage and network performance.
- Utilize specialized equipment to measure signal strength, identify potential interference sources, and collect relevant data.
- Document survey findings with detailed reports, photographs, and diagrams.
- Perform Datacenter Surveys:

- Evaluate existing or planned data center facilities for suitability in supporting telecommunications equipment.
- Assess factors like space availability, power requirements, cooling systems, and security measures.
- Collaborate with data center personnel to ensure seamless integration of telecom infrastructure.
- Coordinate with Field Engineers:

- Provide clear instructions and technical support to field engineers responsible for radio equipment installation and maintenance.
- Track project progress, identify and resolve any technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain open communication between field teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Leverage RAN Experience:

- Understand and troubleshoot RAN-related problems to optimize network performance.
- Stay up-to-date on evolving RAN technologies and best practices.
- Facilitate Radio Integration:

- Oversee the seamless integration of radio equipment with existing network infrastructure.
- Conduct testing and verification procedures to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot any integration issues and ensure optimal network performance.

Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Radio Access Networks (RAN), including radio integration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of radio network protocols, technologies, and equipment configurations.
- Proven ability to integrate new radio sites into existing network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using radio site survey tools such as spectrum analyzers and signal strength meters.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot radio integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with field engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) based radio technologies is a significant advantage.
- Basic understanding of Linux systems is a plus.
