We’re Hiring - Cost Estimation Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)

Department: Estimation & Tendering

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Cost Estimation Engineers in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for high-profile construction and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to contribute your technical expertise in a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to your discipline.
- Participate in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to validate cost data.
- Identify cost risks and recommend value engineering alternatives.
- Prepare comparative cost studies and maintain cost databases.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regional codes.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (as applicable).

**Experience**:

- 5-10 years of experience in cost estimation within your discipline in the construction industry.
- Prior experience with tendering, pre-contract estimation, and value engineering is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in estimation tools such as Candy, CostX, Excel, and project documentation.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, construction methodologies, and local market pricing.

Soft Skills:

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Language**:

- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
