Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Planning Engineer **to join our team In this role you will get to support & implement planning & project controls functions, such as planning/scheduling, updating/monitoring, and reporting to client on major infrastructure project. The Planning Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional with solid experience, technical expertise, and familiarity with company policies and procedures to complete the assigned tasks. Work independently and assist project controls manager.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Implements and maintains Project Planning and Scheduling,
- Familiar with EPC schedules, concepts, and logical relationships.
- Review Contractors schedule, logics, relationship, and sequence of works
- Assist in finalizing the sequence of works to meet the Timeline.
- Monitor critical path on the project schedule/critical activities and the delays.
- Monitor the contractors weekly & monthly progress and produce reports to the client.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts and status against an established baseline schedule.
- Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Reports schedule status to all levels to the management
- Provides input to Project Controls Manager and other staff or client as per requirements.
- Implements and maintains an Earned Value Management System on the project.
- Analyzes cost and schedule performance indicators (CPI and SPI).
- Provides assessment with corrective action recommendations to management.
- Performs other functions associated with this position as appropriate.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelors in Engineering in any related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar project
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge in using Primavera P6.
