Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia the role will expand the Organization’s innovation activities and scope — including new product research, applied technology research and innovations developed both internally and with external partners.

KPi’s include:
Direct an R&D program from proposal to commercialization with the aim of improving current products, creating new ones, reutilization of wastes and making production processes more efficient
- Oversee the development and implementation of an R&D strategy, whilst actively creating strategies and strategic objectives
- Translate Technology, R&D and Innovation strategy into a clear R&D Development programs
- Identify opportunities to create new scale and advantage in R&D activities
- Advance the quality of product and technology launches, ensuring risks in production trials and pilots are adequately managed
- Efficiently address unforeseen quality issues throughout the product and technology development cycle
- Identify and implement new systems, services and technologies to accelerate
- Master new technical knowledge and see underlying concepts and patterns in complex situations

Min Requirements:

- PhD Degree in Science or Engineering (preferred)
- 15 years’ experience and min. 6 years leading R&D in metals & mining fields
- Experienced in IP Management
