The Role
As a Project Director for Landscaping for this leading consultancy, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the planning, design, and execution of landscape projects. This role requires a strong background in landscape architecture, project management, and a passion for creating sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: - Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and scope. - Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines. - Ensure alignment with sustainable design principles and environmental regulations. Team Leadership: - Assemble and manage a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, designers, and contractors. - Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members. - Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Design and Development: - Oversee the design process, from conceptualization to detailed design. - Ensure that designs meet client requirements and industry standards. - Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and materials. Project Execution: - Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion. - Monitor construction progress and quality, making necessary adjustments as needed. - Address and resolve any project-related issues or challenges. Client Communication: - Serve as the main point of contact for clients and provide regular updates on project status. - Collaborate with clients to ensure their vision is realized within project constraints. Quality Assurance and Sustainability: - Implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of landscape design and construction. - Promote sustainable practices and environmentally responsible design solutions. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and permits. - Coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 20+ years of experience. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field. - Proven experience as a Project Director or Manager for landscape projects. - Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of sustainability principles and landscape design trends. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Professional licensure (if required in your region) is a plus.
