- Engage with team for design and technical support for HMU with SMR technology.
- Provide technical inputs in the evaluation of H2 production options
- Engage technology licensor in discussions related to design phase of HMU
- Review operation of existing units to identify improvement opportunities, potential problems,

and remedies to existing problems and provide suggestions to embed with new design
- Technical lead for the execution of capacity increase studies with operating facility and

licensor. This would involve setting the design basis and scope of work as require to ensure study is sufficiently comprehensive to satisfy objective.
- Conduct simulations studies using Saudi Aramco licensed process simulation software packages such as HYSYS. Utilize process models for new and existing facilities and assess ability of the model to deliver representative results.
- Lead process design and engineering activities for new projects in HMU area in conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering phases
- Responsible for the engineering integrity and quality output on design deliverables of the

assigned work area and, or team. Reviews and approves critical project specific Process deliverables.
- Strong drive on compliance with design processes and procedures such as management of change across all project design phases.
- Participate, coach and guide the team during design safety reviews.
- Maintain effective lines of communication with business line management as well as project

team members and department manager on the assigned work area and, or job responsibilities.
- Take an active role in mentoring and developing engineers in the department by supporting the department manager:
Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:
❑ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.

❑ Over 15 years of relevant expereince with min 10 years of design experience directly with H2

production and purification technology areas

❑ Have experience in Steam Methane Reforming (SMR Technology), Partial Oxidation (POX), or Auto

Thermal Reforming (ART), Water Gas Shift and PSA Technology. ❑ Field experience working with H2 production units is preferable ❑ Experice working with Clients and licensors

❑ Process simulation modelling experience

❑ Multi-office project execution experience

❑ Exposed to different technologies and Process software

❑ Experience in various project phases

❑ Demonstrated experience in leading areas of large capital projects

❑ Demonstrated experience in engineering work processes

❑ Operational working & troubleshooing experience will be added benefit

❑ Precommisioning/Comissioning experience will be added benefit

❑ Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society
