- Our client, a well-known medical facility, is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their Emergency Room (ER) team, to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, your duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting to the ER, including medical history and current symptoms.
- Triage patients based on the severity of their conditions to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatment, intervening as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing education programs to enhance professional development and care standards.
**Requirements**:
- To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.- Valid nursing license in Saudi Arabia or eligibility for licensures.- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in EMS including pediatric Emergencies and currently working in EMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution- BLS and ACLS certified.
- Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity in providing care to a diverse patient population.- Proficient in English
