Coating Supervisor-with Ksa Driving License

Coating Supervisor: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating coating machines to sensitize blueprint and photographic paper: Sets up machine and adjusts roller speed and drying temperature. Reads gauges and graphs and inspects control mechanisms to verify machine setup. Adds chemical ingredients, for example solvents and neutralizing agents, to solution as specified by quality control test reports. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (industry) Master Title.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Supervise coating activity fully with daily production target.
- Oversee the coating processes, ensure adherence to related procedures, plans and effective stage / final inspection and release process are adhered and ensure compliance to specifications.
- Prepare quality control reports ensuring these meet client specifications.
- Responsible for stock control of coating materials and Data documents of Coating product.
- Maintain all QA/QC documentation in a clear and accessible format.
- Perform audits of site activities to ensure they are in compliance to the agreed contract scope of work.
- Initiate any training required with personnel involved with handling, cleaning and packing of insulators.
- Identify unique requirements like Coating Testing, preservation & cleanliness from commencement to completion.
- Initiate Non-Conformance reports or identify issues/concerns, implement correction & corrective action as required, Initiate 'Fit for Purpose' evaluation for non-conforming items and to assist / advise the Senior Coating Supervisor.
- Liaise with the Third-Party Inspectors and Client representatives on documents specified to seek verification, assessment and appraisal of their conformity and fitness to client specifications.
- Assist in setting up coating facilities within clients/contractor’s site.
- Assist in the ongoing training and development of spray applicators.
- Assist in recruiting suitable sprayers and coordinating onboarding and training requirements.
- Maintain on-site Health and Safety and quality checks / records during execution and completion of each project.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are upheld and ensure Health & Safety on site.
- Provide regular reports to the Executive Directors, Senior Supervisor and the Technical Manager on a daily / weekly basis.
- Ability to work on own initiative and report to Managers / Directors based outside the country.
- Ensure cost controls and work within set contract operating budgets.
- Liaise with clients, their third-party inspectors, local equipment suppliers, specialist fabricators and equipment maintenance companies etc.
- Assist in spray equipment repairs and maintenance including provision of training.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the painting trade.
- Skilled in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned.
- Experience in supervising other personnel and assigning tasks.
- Skilled in both verbal and written communication in English & Hindi.
- Computer skills - MS Office and Good communication and presentation skills.

**Qualifications**:

- A Graduation or Diploma holder from a recognised institute such as
- NACE (Level 1 or Level 2 (an advantage).
- Experience of supervising and managing teams of spray applicators.
- Proficient level of written and spoken English and Hindi.
- Good written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills.
- Previous work experience in the Middle East region will be an advantage but not critical.
- Valid driving licence

A medium sized specialist coating company based in the Middle East requires Coating Supervisors for managing and supervising the coating of High Voltage Insulators with Silicone Coating by using airless or air assisted spray guns.
