Senior Buyer

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:

- Lead the competitive exercise in compliance with 3rd party goods and services standards
- Manage and expedite internal Purchase Order approval per DOA
- Lead mega projects sourcing strategic task with communication with Global supply chain team
- Account responsible of the main and major suppliers like Phoenix, Selzer, and Eaton
- Interact and awareness about the other process and functions inside iCenter like finance, logistics, planner, and productions
- Involve in iCenter forecast and sales planning
- Coordinate with production engineers for BOM, Ordering, Closing the Projects
- Engage and coordinate with project managers/leads to understand the requirements to find alternative or and expedite products
- Worked and engaged with global tactical procurement process
- Maintain Oracle system data to ensure accuracy during the entire Procure-to-Pay cycle
- Identify appropriate commercial obligations, contract templates and all requirements and technical specifications for delivery
- Identification of execution risks for escalation when needed
- Negotiates and records all cost savings
- Inform local office about status of shipment
- Arrange receiving and inspection of goods whenever it is required
- Support overall suppliers evaluation in terms of overall procurement performance
- Perform regulations and compliance analysis
- Ensure compliance to Emerson Record Retention policy at all times
- Participate in Category Management support
- Develop preliminary pricing detail
- Proactive and timely resolution of all procurement related issues
- Potentially impact company’s overall 3rd party goods and services operations
- Ensure compliance to Emerson’s Ethics Policy at all times
- Participates in quality audits, internal audits with internal and external authorities
- Ensure 100% compliance to purchasing processes, defined standards, and procedures
- Proactively engage in communicating with internal customers and suppliers
- Timely professional communication and responsiveness with internal customers and suppliers
- Maintain the competences in our sourcing processes relative to fiduciary responsibility
- On-time delivery of goods and services
- Knowledge of tools (e-Repps/Oracle/TRAX) is preferred
- Proficient with Oracle business system is required
- Familiar with components used in cabinet assembly
- Conversant with Commercial PO terms
- A clear understanding of INCOTERMS
- Maintains records of necessary documents on document management system (PO, OA, invoices, shipping documents
- Assist in reconciliation during month end Inventory
- Place intercompany purchase orders on distribution centers

**What do I need to be considered for this role?**
- Degree in Commerce/Supply chain or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience in supply chain organization
- Suitable professional courses within procurement and supply chain
- Several years of working with Oracle
- Willing to work in a dedicated team and under pressure to achieve team goals
- Fluent in English
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Training in supply chain process is recommended
- Willing to travel abroad on a regular basis
