**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and handle trade finance transactions including:

- Issuance, amendment, and settlement of **Letters of Credit (LCs)**:

- Bank Guarantees and **Standby LCs**:

- ** Documentary Collections** and **Bills for Collection**:

- Ensure transactions are executed in compliance with **UCP 600, URDG, ISBP, URC** and other applicable regulations
- Liaise with clients, banks, and internal departments (relationship managers, compliance, treasury, etc.)
- Review and validate trade documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Monitor and track the status of transactions and follow up on pending documents
- Prepare SWIFT messages for trade transactions (MT7XX series)
- Handle **discrepancy checking**, negotiation, and settlement of export/import documents
- Work with auditors and compliance teams to provide documentation as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on international trade regulations and sanctions policies

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Banking, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in trade finance operations (bank or corporate setting preferred)
- Strong understanding of international trade products and regulatory frameworks (UCP, URC, ISBP, URDG)
- Familiarity with SWIFT messages and trade finance systems (e.g., Finastra, Surecomp, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)

**Preferred Certifications**:

- ** CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)**:

- ** CITF (Certificate in International Trade and Finance)
