**Major Responsibilities & Duties performed**:
1. Getting feedback from reliever.

2. Asking shift foreman about the planning for the shift charge mix, furnace gunning time, electrode change/other jobs

3. To assist shift foreman.

**Prime Responsibility during shift**:

- Gunning machine hopper should be full during shift.
- Sampler & Temp. Tips should be placed near manipulator
- Electrode spare column should be ready in shift.
- Electrode changes have been taken up
- Housekeeping to be done in control room once in a shift.
- EAF peripheral area to be clean in opportunity time.
- Inform shift supervisor before leaving the control room.
- Housekeeping is well condition

4. Inform shift foreman if any abnormality during shift.

Other Responsibilities:

- Strictly following the safe working practices and safety rules of the organization as per HS&E Policy.
- Strictly Follow the Safety Instruction related to the Jobs
- Keep issued PPE in good and workable condition.
- Do not allow any unsafe PPE usage by staff report PPE damages to concerned authority
- Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipments and welfare facilities.
- Should attend the safety training scheduled for them
- Have right to say” NO” to any unsafe work.
- SBT / On the Job training / Tool Box Talks to the Sub-ordinates
- STOP program awareness & implementation
- Check all material are available on floor.
- Check electrode spare column should be ready.
- Ensure slag sample should send to QAD for analysis.
- Ensure standard practice is being followed & any deviation to be reported.
- Housekeeping should be well control in EAF & Peripheral areas.
- The employee will be work in General Shift / Shift Rota as per company requirement.
- Employee can be transfer to any production unit within company as per company requirement.
