Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Director - Commercial**to join our team
In this role, you will lead all commercial management activities for major programs and strategic projects across the Middle East region. You will be responsible for commercial strategy, contract administration, risk management, and cost control, ensuring Parsons delivers best-in-class commercial outcomes while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all pre
- and post-contract commercial activities across multiple high-value programs.
- Develop and implement commercial management strategies to optimize cost, mitigate risk, and enhance project profitability.
- Lead negotiations of complex contractual agreements with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with Parsons’ policies and objectives.
- Ensure accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control for major projects.
- Advise clients and senior leadership on contractual matters, risk exposure, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Manage and mentor commercial teams, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.
- Collaborate with program directors, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless commercial integration with project delivery.
- Maintain active engagement with industry bodies to stay abreast of evolving contractual practices and standards.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 20+ years of progressive commercial management experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles within major PMO/PMC, infrastructure, or mixed-use development projects.
- Professional membership such as MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices, FIDIC contracts, and advanced negotiation techniques.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary commercial teams across diverse geographies.

**What Desired Skills You’ll Bring**:

- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
- Regional experience in the Middle East, preferably on mega-programs.
- Experience implementing commercial governance frameworks for multi-billion-dollar portfolios.
- Strong digital literacy, including advanced cost and contract management systems.
