Master-Works is looking for a talented **Informatica Specialist (EDC)** to join our exceptional team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) to help organizations effectively manage their data assets, improve data discoverability, and facilitate compliance with data governance standards. Your contributions will directly impact our clients' ability to harness their data for strategic advantages.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and configure Informatica EDC solutions tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a comprehensive data catalog, ensuring data is easily searchable and readily accessible.
- Design and execute data lineage and metadata management strategies to enhance data transparency and accountability.
- Provide training and support to end-users, promoting best practices surrounding data catalog usage.
- Monitor the EDC environment for performance optimization and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Informatica EDC and data management trends to continually refine our offerings.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, configurations, and solutions related to EDC implementations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Informatica EDC, including configuration and administration.
- Strong grasp of data governance and metadata management principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills to support effective data management strategy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and big data platforms is a plus.
