**Job Summary**:
The Lead Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the geotechnical department. This role involves leading project teams, providing technical expertise, and delivering innovative geotechnical design solutions to ensure structural stability, safety, and performance. The Lead Geotechnical Engineer collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role also includes responsibility for resource planning, cost control, and contributing to the development of strategic goals. The Lead Geotechnical Engineer plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, meeting performance targets, and supporting business growth through high-quality service delivery.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Managerial Duties**:

- Support company management in establishing and implementing department policies, goals, quality objectives, and procedures.
- Support company management in developing departmental business plans, operational strategies, policies and procedures.
- Monitor costs and resources in daily operations.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand business by introducing innovative services or entering new markets.
- Build employee confidence and foster a positive culture of belonging.
- Create and implement change management strategies.
- Inspire, influence, and guide others toward achieving common goals.
- Delegate tasks and empower subordinates effectively.
- Support company management in department staffing and budget planning.
- Manage budgeting activities, contribute to marketing initiatives, support sales efforts, and communicate with potential clients to develop new business opportunities.
- In coordination with company management, conduct employee performance reviews for staff under supervision to assess individual performance, set aligned objectives, review qualifications, identify training needs, and gather employee feedback.
