Technical Excellence:
- Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures for project controls
- Identify areas for improvement in project control practices, and lead initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of project controls
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders on project controls processes and procedures
- Conduct technical reviews of project controls processes and procedures to identify gaps and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to develop project controls plans and strategies that align with project objectives
- Develop and provide training and coaching to project teams on project controls processes and procedures, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Digital & Data Governance
- Own the development of ICS & DI and act as the technical expert
- Work with business stakeholders to capture requirement and work with the developers to prioritize
- Ensure that our tools in the business are aligned with our digital strategy
- Work with the GTC team on Automation - low code no code opportunities
- Work with the digital governance group to ensure that the business is working to the best data governance practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of project controls processes and procedures
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing technical standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks to project schedules, budgets, and quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational and project management skills
