1. Job Purpose
The main purpose of the **Senior Sales Engineer**’s job is to serves as the primary interface between the customer and the business in assigned region. Responsible for delivering profitable sales growth by developing relationships with the customer at all levels and manage and maintain the Channel sales and organization for the region ensuring sales and capacity forecasts are kept up to date. Meeting targets set out by the Sales & Marketing Management.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
- Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels with existing and new customers
- Identify new business opportunities and build market intelligence by regular customer engagement
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive profitable sales growth
- Present new opportunities to executive management during the tender screening and risk review process
- Discuss and explore technical solutions with customers, contractors and engineering consultants
- Liaise with the estimation team to develop proposals, providing market intelligence and direction to ensure client key issues are captured in the tender process
- Lead the proposal team during tender clarifications and contract negotiation to successful conclusion
- Regularly update the sales database and provide management with order forecasts, market trends and competitive intelligence
- Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time to meet customers & seek new opportunities.
- Should be able to manage key accounts profitably.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.

**Skills**:
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of commercial experience with LV/MV power projects
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with experience in a sales position
- Strong LV/MV technical background
In depth knowledge of EPC contracts and power equipment Installations and EPC contractors.
