Plans, directs, organizes and coordinates the overall activities and functions of assigned services/functions to achieve its mission, goals and objectives and to enhance its existing systems, process, and productivity.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Develops, implements, continuously monitors andupdates the department’s goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and otherofficial documents, as necessary.
- Ensures the timely preparation of annual operatingbudget for the assigned services/functions, monitors and keeps expenditureswithin budget.
- Advises and serves as a resource person on matterspertinent to assigned services/functions.
- Exercises authority over assignedservices/functions' programs by maintaining control and ensuring effectiveutilization of Hospital’s resources.
- Delegates authority and establishes a formal meansof accountability on the part of subordinates.
- Creates and maintains effective communicationchannels to facilitate direction of operational affairs throughout theHospital.
- Develops and maintains cooperative, collaborativeand effective relationships with other key management personnel and keepsabreast of significant economic, social and technical trends, and regulatoryguidelines, which may influence the department and the Hospital.
- Formulates overall supply chain strategy with focuson excellent quality, reliable and customer
- oriented service, and costoptimization.
- Directs the development and installation of varioussupply chain management systems necessary to provide complete and accuraterecords of Hospital capital assets, planning, purchasing, contractual,inventory transactions, etc. Medical and non-medical supplies, equipment, aswell as general and maintenance supplies.
- Establishes supply chain dashboard (key performanceindicators) and devises required action plans to meet goals and objectives.
- Plans, directs, and controls the programs of thedifferent departments and sections of supply chain management, includingprojects on cost, stock and lead-time reduction, as well as customer serviceimprovement.
- Ensures the proper implementation of supplies andequipment standardization system.
- Assures tracking and follow-up of supplyactivities, synchronizing supply chain from estimating demand to deliver tocustomers, and resolving shortages, delays, and other logístical concerns.

**Education**:
Master’ or Bachelor’s Degreein Supply ChainManagement, Business Administration, or other related discipline isrequired.

**Experience Required**:
Nine (9) years of relatedexperience with Master’s, or eleven (11) years with Bachelor’s Degree,including four (4) years of experience in a Senior/Supervisory capacity is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi Nationals only.
