The opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior risk manager to join our established and growing team in Saudi Arabia.

Project: Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing the risk management system and reporting.
- Supporting the project teams in the identification, assessment and management of risks during the proposal and project implementation phases.
- Aligning the risk management efforts of the internal staff, contractors and third parties in the area of risk management to achieve project and programme goals. Ensuring that the project has up to date cost and schedule QRAs that match those risks in the risk register.
- Providing support, education and training to build risk awareness. Ensuring that the risk management procedures are communicated to all DSCSs and first tier contractors and that they comply.
- Capturing and disseminating risk management lessons learned/best practices back into the programme. Escalating appropriate project risks up through the programme.
- Working with project and cost managers to assess contingency levels and their management in accordance with the cost management/contingency draw-down values.

About you

With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. You are an experienced senior risk manager with major project/programme experience, on complex, large portfolios. You have the ability to lead a small team and work within a wider department and alongside the client.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
