**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the DevOps team in a highly available and safety-related environment.
- Buildout the infrastructure used to handle our environments.
- Participates in architecture and software development activities.
- Building distributed systems using the latest technologies, improving the scalability and cost efficiency.
- Coaching, mentoring and training junior team members in optimizing software engineering and end-to-end delivery.
- Ability to plan, build and lead large-scale transformations including DevOps, testing and cloud native projects.
- Advising clients on appropriate DevOps strategies specific to their unique business needs.
- Supervise and deliver architecture design, infrastructure design, build and deployment activities.
- Work closely with architects and developers to define building blocks and new features.

**Required Skills**:

- Very good understanding of Linux internals, Networking, HTTP protocol and Distributed Systems.
- Must be familiar with AWS Services - including but not limited to CloudFormation/CDK, EC2, ElastiCache, Lambda, RDS, Serverless, S3, ASC etc.
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, BitBucket Pipelines or Jenkins.
- Understanding around automation, how to scale, and Python scripts.
- Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Python.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Strong experience in a cloud-based environment, e.g., one of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Strong experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills.

**Desired Certifications**:

- Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK).
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
- Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
