Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Health & Safety Manager **to join our team In this role you will get to provide senior professional oversight, technical guidance, training and support to project and other Global Business Unit safety managers

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Develops, communicates, and oversees Parsons’ Safety Health and Risk Program (SHARP) Management at all office and project locations within their assigned region in coordination with the SH&E Director of each GBU.

Provides part time field level support as required to projects within their region including short term assignments as needed.

Provides assistance to division level managers regarding health and safety regulations, reporting requirements, safety training, and other related issues.

Monitors the effectiveness of health and safety programs, conducts investigations, and complies with internal reporting and recordkeeping requirements and workers compensation claim procedures within their assigned region.

Facilitates the collection and maintenance of SH&E related information and statistics for all business units and operations in their assigned region.

Keeps VP SH&E and GBU SH&E Directors informed of significant internal and external developments regarding health and safety.

Assists business development personnel as required with the development and support of proposal data.

Represents the company at national and international safety conferences.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as many be appropriate including support outside of assigned region.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or closely related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 10+ years of related work experience in the field of safety and health. Supervisory experience with managing safety professionals on multiple project locations is required. Advanced degree in related field, license, and/or professional certification preferred.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Requires extensive knowledge of domestic and international safety standards. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to train all levels of the organization in key company safety training programs. Ability to supervise and manage safety professionals located throughout the organization domestically and internationally.
