We are seeking a **Staff Engineer** with deep backend expertise in **Ruby on Rails** or **Python** to take ownership of **final design reviews** and ensure technical implementations align with Lucidya’s **architecture standards** and **product vision**. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone passionate about driving architectural integrity and mentoring engineering teams.

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on experience designing and delivering customer experience (CX) SaaS products such as social listening engines, real-time engagement systems, customer data platforms, feedback tools, or marketing insights dashboards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- **7+ years** of backend software engineering experience, ideally in a **SaaS** environment.
- Proven experience in **technical leadership**, architecture reviews, and mentoring.
- Solid understanding of **distributed systems**, **microservices**, and **event-driven architectures**.
- Expertise in **cloud platforms** (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., Redis, Elasticsearch) data stores.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Skilled in using GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost coding efficiency, automate tasks, and improve code quality.

**Bonus**
- Experience with **DevOps**, **CI/CD pipelines**, and observability tooling.
- Contributions to open-source projects or public technical writing.
