The Role
The BIM Technician performs drafting and modelling for building projects utilizing Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD software for the Electrical Engineering Department. Working under the direction of the Electrical Lead and in cooperation with the project team, it is the BIM Technician’s responsibility to assist with production of projects and develop high quality and technically accurate documents on time and on budget. They are required to coordinate their models and drawings with the rest of the design team by attending regular internal workshops and perform clash detection operations. Job role - Produce 2D and BIM drawing for Electrical System. Include Single Line, Layout and system schematic drawings, panel board schedules, lighting, low current system adhering to established design specification and standards. - Prepare drawings submission format, including title block, notes and legends, drawing to scale, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or similar - Certified professional user of Autodesk Revit or similar preferred - Good working knowledge of the Construction & Design industry. - High level of computer literacy including a proficient user of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

Design engineering and drawing development are performed with the aid of computers using the latest and original software. This enables the company to restrict the error factor to bare minimum, if not nil. This also facilitate safe and reliable archiving and speedy and easy access to any archived work.
