Service Engineer

Service Engineer should have workshop/Field service background and to have previous experience in servicing Emerson Final Control products, Such as: Control valve, Automated, Pressure Management, Actuation and Isolation valves and associated equipment. With a knowledge of the various types of international standards and testing criteria and general knowledge in system and communication used in plant.

Travel within KSA will be required to complete the roles and responsibilities outlined for this position.

Travel outside of KSA may be required on occasion to support the regional service team or to complete training and education requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine service maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements and as directed by designated service lead.
- Calibration, testing and trouble-shooting of Emerson products related to the business unit.
- Perform system start-up and commissioning services as required.
- Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment in workshop as well field.
- Conduct Customer Service guiding and take ownership for customer co-ordination.
- Complete documentation of repair, testing, assembly activities - cause of failure, actions taken etc.
- Proactively identify Service / Product opportunities and assist the sales pursuit
- Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
- Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
- Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees where requested.
- Perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the designated local service lead or by any member of the MEA service management team.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Qualified in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience at valves industry.
- Solid technical skills and self-manage to make experienced-based decisions on the job
- Clear and effective written and spoken communications in English with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
- Willing to travel extensively within KSA and occasionally within the MEA region when requested to do so.
- Good documentation & writing skills
- Good personal discipline.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer to have experience in fisher valve and Emerson final control products.
- Experience with HART and Fieldbus protocol.
