**Your function**

As a Transmission & Distribution Reliability Engineering Consultant, you will be instrumental in supporting clients to enhance the performance of their electrical assets and asset management systems. Working as part of a strategic consulting team, you will engage in a dynamic, global environment, frequently collaborating on-site with clients to evaluate operational issues, identify critical challenges, and craft practical solutions that drive measurable returns on investment (ROI).

You will be part of the Asset Management and Operations consulting team.

**Your range of duties usually include the following:
- Client Engagement & Consultation: Work directly with clients to understand their operational concerns related to asset performance and reliability. Shape customized approaches to address pain points and deliver actionable solutions.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze technical and financial data related to key electrical assets, including Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Switchgear, Transmission Lines, Substations, Insulators, Cables, Poles, Reactive Power Equipment, Surge Arresters, DC Supply Systems, Telecommunications, and Monitoring Equipment.
- Failure Analysis & Root Cause Identification: Perform failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA), root cause analysis, and other reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies to identify the reasons for asset failures and improve maintenance strategies.
- Risk Modeling & Asset Health Index (AHI): Develop risk models, asset health indices, and asset performance metrics, enabling clients to prioritize maintenance activities based on condition and risk.
- Maintenance Strategy Development: Design and implement condition-based (CBM) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies. Provide spare parts management recommendations and help clients develop effective maintenance and replacement plans to maximize asset lifecycles.
- Process Development & Optimization: Develop models, processes, and methodologies aimed at improving the asset management organization’s efficiency. Provide recommendations for enhanced maintenance, replacement strategies, and spare parts optimization.Benchmarking & Best Practices: Conduct benchmarking exercises, comparing client practices with industry standards and best practices from leading utilities. Develop cost-benefit analyses to justify recommendations for performance improvement.

**Your Profile **Background**:

- Master degree in engineering with strong background in reliability.
- Electrical engineering background is a plus, Masters in management is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in transmission and distribution (T&D) asset management or maintenance roles, with a strong focus on reliability engineering

**Skills**:

- **Extensive Knowledge of Electrical Assets**: Strong understanding of the operation, maintenance, and measurement techniques for key electrical assets such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, transmission lines, and substations.
- **Familiarity with Reliability Engineering Concepts**: Experience in asset management, FMECA, root cause analysis, asset risk modelling, asset health index, P-F curve, Weibull distribution, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and spare parts management.
- **Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills**: Proven ability to analyse complex asset data, identify failures and risks, and develop actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- **Consultative Approach**: Ability to work closely with clients, develop strong relationships, and translate technical findings into strategic recommendations that drive performance improvement.
- **International and On-Site Experience**: Willingness to work in an international setting and travel to client sites as necessary.
- **Languages**:Excellent command of English is mandatory. Knowledge of any of the following languages would be a plus : German / French / Netherlands /Arabic
