Summary:Summary:
The QA/QC Manager oversees the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. They lead a team of QA/QC professionals to develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance plans, conduct inspections and audits, and identify and resolve quality issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures to ensure product and service quality.
- Lead and manage a team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify potential defects, non-conformities, and process deviations.
- Investigate and analyze quality issues, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and analyze quality data to track trends, identify recurring issues, and measure the effectiveness of QA/QC programs.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA/QC processes and the organization's overall quality management system.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC management or a related role in a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of QA/QC professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the organization's industry or sector.
- Knowledge of specific quality standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the organization's products or services.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation plans.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages.
