In this role you will get to **i **mp **lement strategies for monitoring, identifying and optimizing areas of environmental concerns

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Provide support, where required, to execute the overall monitoring program (air/water/waste/marine) requirements including sampling, testing and interpretations of data and reporting.
- Review and evaluate all required technical reports and studies (such as environmental impact studies and self-monitoring reports)
- Assist and develop the existing monitoring program to ensure its in line with international requirements.
- Conducting field inspections to ensure the compliance of industries with the environmental standards and regulations.
- Witness the groundwater monitoring, stack testing, fugitive emission testing and noise testing that are to be conducted by approved consultants to ensure their compliance with the requirements.
- Evaluate the operation of various pollution control systems installed by industries; monitors and resolves issues relating to environmental monitoring management.
- Prepare technical reports on the status of environmental quality in the city air, water, waste and marine KPIs.
- Manage and participate in the daily patrols program producing weekly reports.
- Participate in emergency incident response teams including preparing investigation reports.
- Conduct community awareness sessions and industrial training workshops, conferences, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed by the manager.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience working within the project management and planning sector.
- Knowledge of US-EPA and EU regulations and standards for safety and environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment regulations followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with experience of the environmental regulatory process.
- Intermediate computer skills are essential with experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Ability to work to deadlines which may need working after hours occasionally.
- Proficient at problem solving.
- Competent at identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies when they arise.
