The Role

Key KPIs include:

- Timely completion of site and services work activities as per the shutdown plan given by the client.
- Quality completion of site activities.
- Avoidance of site accidents by proper implementation of the company's HSE standards.
- Good coordination with the technical team and project manager.
- Carry out distribution substation maintenance activities including transformers, protection, switchgear, relays, and AC/DC.
- Receive work permit.
- Inspect project sites to monitor the progress of site activities and ensure conformity to specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in maintenance work at the substations.
- Commit to shutdown window and the time allowed to complete the work.
- Supervise contracted staff and ensure conformity to quality and safety standards.
- Manage logistics to transfer the testing and maintenance equipment from the warehouse to the site and vice versa.
- Respond to emergency calls to mobilize to site within the given response time.
- Prepare project progress reports and timesheets and submit them to the project manager and construction manager.
- Prepare the descriptive technical report on any occurring problem and provide technical advice to solve the encountered problem.
- Follow up work progress with project teams, up to handing over to the end user.
- Coordinate site activities with the end user representatives and project management team.
- Make sure that procedures are followed and to determine if specified steps were taken.
- Ensure the implementation of the company's HSE standards.
- Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required and ensure other team members' knowledge is up to date.
- Conduct awareness sessions for the team and GS employees when needed.

- Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.

**Experience**
- From 5 to 8 years of experience in S/S maintenance projects.
- Preferably experience in HSE management system.
- Solid knowledge in S/S maintenance projects.
